Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager is a highly motivated individual with a passion for marketing and social media, with a deep love of the fashion industry, and a robust knowledge of the influencer landscape. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategically creating new and unique influencer marketing campaigns that drive key engagement and hit business metrics. In this role, you will have experience incorporating creators into brand campaigns and a proficiency with measurement tools and social channels for optimal reporting. This person is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with influencers, stylists, tastemakers, their agents and teams when relevant. This candidate will be responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns and ads across all platforms.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Communication, Marketing or similar field preferred

• 2 - 4 Years experience of Marketing/Social Media Management

• Influencer Industry savvy; up on the latest changes in influencer marketing and the competitive landscape as well as social media trends

• A track record of problem-solving key strategic challenges in the industry by identifying creative solutions

• An innovative approach to developing and achieving key success metrics and demonstrated ability to influence successful outcomes through impactful influencer work

• The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting and creating new and unique influencer marketing campaigns that drive key engagement and hit business metrics

• Advanced knowledge of content creation on all social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must be based in Los Angeles

Responsibilities:

• This role will play an integral part in all Melissa Simone Marketing and Influencer programs as well as social media management

• Responsible for creating content for Instagram and TikTok

• Responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with influencers, stylists, tastemakers, their agents and teams when relevant

• Develop, implement and manage successful, influencer strategy that amplifies the brand and marketing messages across new, relevant audiences, and leverages the credibility and unique POV of the Influencer to tell our brand story (includes paid editorial, gifting, collaborative content development and general digital communications efforts)

• Co-create and manage day-to-day influencer affiliate program to drive sales and increase brand love among our community

• Create briefs and onboarding materials on a monthly basis to keep influencer partners informed on their duties and responsibilities

• Negotiate and contract influencers on a regular basis to ensure brand standards are met and deliverables are fulfilled

• Maintain an influencer database with accurate and up to date brand partnership

• Work alongside team to influence successful, measurable marketing ideas, and plans in order to hit OKR’s, while integrating influencer participation in our marketing and advertising

• Maintain KPI’s and track and report insights to benchmark expectations and goals

• Strategize, create and implement ad campaigns across all platforms

• Create and maintain all email and SMS campaigns

• Process all influencer send outs

• Any other related tasks as needed
